Ask any business student and they'll tell you they hear the same things over and over again whenever discussing their course with relatives, professors or even complete strangers.
Does it ever stop? Well, I've got some bad news for you people: it doesn't. I'll tell you something though, you're definitely not alone in this boat as many other business students out there share your misery.
As for the rest of you, if you ever find yourself chatting to someone studying business and you're about to say one of the following five things, just don't.
You must be really good at math

Is that so? Because if so, I must have missed that I’m a freaking genius. In all honesty, most of us are just trying to get the math subjects over with. And while doing that, we're trying hard not to look like we are suffering.
So what do you do after graduation? Open a shop or something?

I don’t know, you tell me? It takes time to figure out what you want to do when you “grow up”. Especially, when you have one idea of a job in your head during university and that doesn't match with what the job would actually involve in real life. But yeah, we might own a business or two.
To pass this class, you need to read all the material from the syllabus

This one goes out to the professors with ridiculously unrealistic expectations. No one has ever done this. Let’s face it, most of us just rely on the summaries from the lecture slides every professor uploads. If they don’t waste their time talking about something, why would we?

What's your GPA again?

Excuse me, what? Every person has the right to privacy and this is the kind of thing you wouldn't willingly disclose unless you have a perfect score and want to show off.
You should probably stop going out for dinner every night

OK, I realize this isn't something every business student does, or even something exclusive to business students, but who honestly has the time and motivation to cook a three-course meal to satisfy their inner dragon when you can get in and out of a restaurant so much faster with minimal effort? We've got too much on our plate (get it?) without worrying about cooking a balanced diet in between our business lectures. Just add the food money to the student loans already.
